My father in law died just before xmas, I was a horrible time for everyone, especially my partner. What we were all thankful for, though, was the fact that we had arranged everything with the Funeral Directors Essex co-operative had. He had been diagnosed with cancer about 4 and a half years ago but was expected to have had it for as long as 3 years before the diagnosis so he was obviously a very strong man, which is why when he was admitted to hospital for the last time, no-one expected for him to not bounce back like he always had, so it was really as much of a shock to everyone as if a healthy man had dropped dead. Never the less, he had now passed. A few weeks earlier, he gave all his nearest and dearest a copy of his wishes, who to contact and the number for the co-operative funeral department.
